Mesa Hotline School

The Mesa Hotline School has many training programs and certifications that allow our students to continually update and expand their knowledge. Below is a list of current programs and school dates offered by Mesa Hotline School. Refunds for student registration will be granted with either written or verbal notification with a minimum of 35 days notice prior to the first week of the scheduled Mesa Hotline School. Refund requests not meeting these criteria will be subject to approval by the Mesa Hotline School President or Vice President. Emergencies such as a major storm or death in the family are reasonable requests for refund and will be subject to approval by the Mesa Hotline School President or Vice President.

Mesa Hotline School has a block of rooms reserved at the Doubletree in Grand Junction for $119 per night. Please call 970-241-8888 to make your reservation.

Opening Dates for the 2026 Mesa Hotline School Registration:

• Mesa Hotline School Members – Monday, February 2nd, 2026; 8:00 am MST
• Non-Members – Monday, February 16th, 2026; 8:00 am MST

The Journeyman Certification test is only administered twice a year. This 8 hour test will prepare and certify you for your occupation as a journeyman lineman. The first four hours of this test is written, followed by the last 4 hours of oral examination. To apply for this test you must have your company approve you for the test and have 8,500 hours of work in the field.  Learn More>
