To assist with the installation, repair and maintenance of overhead and underground electrical power lines and auxiliary equipment. This is an entry level position. Time spent learning skills, principles, and procedures. Will be required to enroll and complete the approved journeyman 4-year training and certification program. Successful completion of this program is mandatory and requires 8,500 hours of on-the-job training to qualify to take the test. Successful completion of the course includes maintaining at least a B average.
